The NZ Fairy Tern

Bennetts of Mangawhai is a long term supporter of the Fairy Tern Trust and we are passionate about the conservation work being done in our backyard.

The Fairy Tern is NZ’s most endangered bird with only seven breeding pairs remaining. The breeding areas of the Fairy Tern have been under threat by predators and urban development for many years but the local community has worked tirelessly to support DoC in protecting these special little birds.

By purchasing these items, you are helping the Trust to continue the excellent work they do in our community.

Since launching the Fairy Tern greeting cards in 2019, we have donated over $17,000 to the NZ Fairy Tern Trust!
